The deal encompasses Pierce’s publishing interests in songs released up to and including the band’s Encyclopedia album. That includes tracks from early records such as Summertime!

Songs in the acquisition include Money, Let's Go Surfing, Days, Down By The Water, Forever and Ever, Amen and more. The Drums has accumulated over 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with Money generating over 471 million streams.

Bella Figura Music has acquired the publishing catalogue of Jonny Pierce, the songwriter and vocalist behind New York indie pop band/project The Drums, marking the company’s first major deal since entering the US market.

Since emerging from New York’s indie scene in 2009, The Drums have become one of indie pop’s most distinctive voices, building a devoted global following with songs that balance aching melancholy and irresistible pop sensibilities through surf-tinged guitars, reverb and synths.

Bella Figura Acquires Jonny Pierce's Catalogue

Bella Figura Music has acquired a significant portion of the Jeepster Recordings catalogue, encompassing select albums, EPs and recordings from the London-based independent label.

The acquisition includes releases from Belle And Sebastian, Snow Patrol and The Gentle Waves, including Belle And Sebastian’s influential albums If You’re Feeling Sinister and The Boy With The Arab Strap; SnowPatrol's early album When It’s All Over We Still Have To Clear Up; and The Gentle Waves’ Swansong For You.

Jeepster Recordings was founded in London in 1995 by Stefano D’Andrea and Mark Jones.

2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Belle And Sebastian’s If You’re Feeling Sinister. The band are set to tour across Europe and North America throughout 2026, performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and Massey Hall in Toronto.

The acquisition covers Epworth’s publishing catalogue and producer income, encompassing some of the most celebrated songs and recordings of the past three decades. The deal includes his co-writes and productions on Adele’s landmark album 21, including “Rolling in the Deep” as well as the multi award winning “Skyfall,” co-written with Adele. The catalogue further includes Epworth’s defining work with Florence + The Machine across Lungs and Ceremonials, and collaborations with Rihanna, Arlo Parks, Glass Animals, Paul McCartney, and many others.
